Toronto, June 6, 2017 – United VARs has announced that it has received a 2017 SAP Pinnacle Award as the Special Recognition Partner of the Year, which recognizes its outstanding contributions as an SAP partner. SAP presents these awards annually to the top partners that have excelled in developing and growing their partnership with SAP and helping customers run better. Winners and finalists in 20 categories were chosen based on recommendations from the SAP field, customer feedback and performance indicators, including a Customers’ Choice award, which recognizes a customer-nominated SAP partner.
As the largest alliance of value-added resellers of SAP solutions, with a network of companies comprising over 40 resellers of SAP solutions covering more than 80 countries, United VARs have been recognized for providing a very high level of expertise with SAP solutions, services and support delivered in the local language. United VARs demonstrated a deep understanding of the local business rules, regulations and laws as well as providing innovative solutions for customers.
“Illumiti is proud to be a member of the United VARs alliance. As we deliver projects for our global customers, the United VARs alliance gives us the peace of mind to supplement our project teams with like minded local resources in 80 countries around the world” said Illumiti CEO Nir Orbach. “United VARs brings together leading firms in every country in which it operates – each with the resources, best practices, and commitment to client service excellence that we need to support our clients’ global operations.”
“Following our admission as an SAP global platinum resellers in 2015, and in light of how individual partners in the alliance have already earned 7 SAP Pinnacle Awards in the past 5 years, we are proud that United VARs itself has been presented with an SAP Pinnacle Award for the first time in its capacity as an alliance. This sends a powerful message to our customers as they expand their global business and reach new markets through digital transformation with SAP S/4HANA”, said Detlef Mehlmann, Director (Chairman) of United VARs and Head of International Business Development at All for One Steeb AG.
“SAP is proudly committed to our ever-open, expanding partner ecosystem”, said Bill McDermott, CEO of SAP. “No company can or should go it alone in this digital economy. SAP’s partners bring domain expertise, global scale and a shared commitment to our customers. The SAP Pinnacle Awards give us the chance to salute the best of the best”.
SAP Pinnacle Awards shine a spotlight on SAP’s partners’ remarkable contributions, acknowledging their dedication to teamwork, innovative approach and capacity to challenge what is possible to help customers achieve their goals. Award winners were formally recognized at the SAP Global Partner Summit in Orlando, Florida on 15 May 2017.
